SUIDI/SIDS Training Opportunity

Please share this flyer with all stakeholders, partners, and colleagues.  This is an excellent training and very timely for Alabama.  In 2016, 137 infants died from sleep related causes before celebrating their first birthday.  This accounted for 22 percent of the total infant mortality rate.  When you further break this down, it equates to nearly 7 kindergarten classrooms with 20 children per classroom.

Law Enforcement, Coroners, Forensics, First Responders, Emergency Physicians, Nurses, Social Workers, and anyone having direct contact with infants should receive this training.

Please register yourself or someone from your facility/organization to partcipate in one of the various locations across Alabama.

We look forward to reducing Alabama's high infant mortality rate with you.
